Important: Prixly is a price comparison tool only. We do not sell, stock, ship, or fulfil any products. All purchases are made directly with independent third-party retailers on their own websites. By using Prixly, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Use in full.
1. About Prixly
Prixly is an online price comparison service that aggregates and displays product prices from multiple third-party retailers. Our service enables users to identify competitive prices across a wide range of retailers and, where interested, to navigate to those retailers' websites to make a purchase.
Prixly does not act as a seller, agent, intermediary, or representative of any retailer. We are not involved in, and accept no responsibility for, any transaction that takes place between a user and a retailer.
1a. User Accounts
Prixly offers optional user accounts. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account with others or permit any third party to access it on your behalf. Prixly reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Certain features — including the wishlist and price alert tracking — require a registered account. Account data (name, email, wishlist items) is stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
1b. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Prixly uses the Brave Search API to find live product prices across retailers. By searching on Prixly, you consent to your search query being transmitted to Brave Software, Inc. as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Nature of the Service — Price Comparison Only
Prixly provides information about prices and availability as a guide only. When you click a result on Prixly, you are leaving our service and entering the third-party retailer's website. At that point:
- All sales, contracts, and transactions are solely between you and the retailer.
- The retailer's own terms and conditions apply to your purchase.
- Prixly is not a party to any purchase, agreement, or contract you enter into with a retailer.
- Any dispute arising from a purchase — including but not limited to delivery failures, damaged goods, refunds, returns, or fraudulent listings — is a matter between you and the retailer. Prixly has no authority or ability to intervene.
3. Price Accuracy and Availability
Prices displayed on Prixly are sourced from third-party retailers and are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantee that:
- Prices shown are accurate, complete, or current at the time you view them.
- The product is in stock or available at the retailer.
- The price shown on Prixly matches the price you will see at checkout on the retailer's website (prices may differ due to personalised pricing, region, promotions, delivery costs, or timing).
- Any "was" price, discount percentage, or saving figure shown is accurate or verifiable.
Always verify the current price and availability directly on the retailer's website before making any purchasing decision. Prixly accepts no liability for any loss suffered as a result of relying on prices displayed on this service.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Prixly and its operators, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on price information displayed on Prixly.
- Any failed, disputed, or fraudulent transaction with a retailer.
- Any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage of any kind.
- The conduct, acts, or omissions of any third-party retailer whose website you access via a Prixly link.
- Any error, inaccuracy, or omission in price or product information.
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Prixly service.
- Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your data resulting from a security breach beyond our reasonable control.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed £100 (one hundred pounds sterling) or the equivalent in your local currency.
5. No Endorsement of Retailers
The appearance of a retailer on Prixly does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of that retailer. Prixly does not vet, audit, or verify the legitimacy, reliability, or quality of any retailer listed. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before purchasing from any retailer.
6. Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships
Prixly may participate in affiliate programmes with retailers. This means that when you click a price result and subsequently make a purchase, Prixly may receive a small commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence the ordering or ranking of prices — results are displayed on a price basis. The existence of an affiliate relationship does not mean Prixly endorses the retailer or guarantees the transaction.
7. Acceptable Use
By using Prixly, you agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or extract data from Prixly without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise extract proprietary data or algorithms from the service.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service or its infrastructure.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from Prixly without prior written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or block access to any user or automated system that violates these rules.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on Prixly — including but not limited to the Prixly name, logo, interface design, source code, copy, and trade dress — is the intellectual property of Prixly and is protected by applicable copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of Prixly without our express written permission.
Product names, brand names, and retailer names displayed in search results are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison purposes only. Their appearance on Prixly does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those brands or retailers.
9. Third-Party Websites
Prixly contains links to third-party retailer websites. These links are provided for your convenience. We have no control over the content, availability, or privacy practices of those websites, and we accept no responsibility for them. Accessing any third-party website via Prixly is entirely at your own risk.
10. Service Availability
We do not guarantee that Prixly will be available at all times or free from errors, interruptions, or delays. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice and without liability to you.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Prixly after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should stop using the service.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
